I think anyone who has traveled can understand this quote. The moment I saw it I knew exactly what he meant. The sentiment of this quote is the reason I travel. I don't always know where I'm going, or why, but at every turn there is something new I will see and learn. I spent my junior year abroad in Spain, Cuba, and the Galapagos and in my ongoing travels I am trying to see what I've "never seen before and shall never see again." I am constantly faced with the decision of returning somewhere I have already been and loved, or going somewhere new. I'll be documenting my travels on this site--some to new locations, and some to cities I just can't resist going back to.
